# "Your ad may not be approved" Facebook notification

## If your Facebook ad isn't approved, you should edit it so it meets the advertising policies.

When boosting a post on Facebook, you may be required to certify that you will comply with Facebook's policy prohibiting discrimination.

Ads must not discriminate or encourage discrimination against people based on personal attributes such as race, ethnicity, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family status, disability, medical or genetic condition.
