Why am I receiving a 404 Error?

If your content is published but you're receiving an error, take these steps.

If your page is active, but the link isn't working, it may be because it's missing a portion of the URL that's needed.  If you adjust the URL a bit on your end, then you should be all set.

Check your URL for the below specifications.

  • For any page on a Curaytor site, the public link will always read — yourURL.com/page/url-slug-here

  • For any blog post on a Curaytor site, the public link will always read — yourURL.com/blog/url-slug-here

  • For SEO, accessibility, and just overall website best practices with a URL slug, you always want to include dashes between each word (these serve as "spaces" to search engines so that they know exactly what the page is)
