If you’ve been creating video content about your listings, we have great news for you: Curaytor Seller Reports can now automatically pull your YouTube metrics!
Here’s your step-by-step guide to start wowing your sellers even more by showcasing your YouTube content:
Step 1: Open Google Cloud Console → APIs & Services
Login or create an account at: https://console.cloud.google.com/
From the Google Cloud Console home screen, click 'API & Services' under 'Quick access'.

Step 2: Go to Credentials
In the left sidebar, choose 'Credentials'.
Step 3: Click Create credentials
At the top, select 'Create credentials'.
Step 4: Choose API key
From the dropdown, click 'API key'.
Step 5: Copy the key (temporary) and close
A dialog shows 'API key created'. Copy it somewhere safe—you’ll paste it into Curaytor shortly.
Step 6: Open the new key for editing
Back on the 'Credentials' page, click the newly created key.
Step 7: Name your key (recommended)
Give it a meaningful name (e.g., 'Curaytor YouTube integration').
Step 8: Restrict which APIs this key can call
Under 'API restrictions', choose 'Restrict key'.
Step 9: Select YouTube Data API v3
Open the 'Select APIs' list, check 'YouTube Data API v3', and click 'OK'.
Step 10: Save
Confirm 'YouTube Data API v3' is listed under 'Selected APIs', then click 'Save'.
Step 11: Find your YouTube handle
Find your Youtube handle in your YouTube account. You can find that in the URL

In your YouTube channel summary
Step 12: Add your YouTube handle & YouTube API key in Curaytor
In your Curaytor platform, go to your 'Settings / Integrations' page, open the YouTube integration, paste your Youtube handle + the YouTube API key you created, and save.
‼️ Best Practices & Tips
- Keep the key secret.
- If you get errors, enable the YouTube Data API v3 under 'APIs & Services → Library'.
- Wait a few minutes for new restrictions to take effect.
