Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Step 1: Build Your Seller Report Template

There are two ways you can build a Seller Report Template.

A. After creating a new Seller Report for one of your listings, you'll see the option to "Customize Report."

OR

B. Click on a listing that you've built a Seller Report for in your Listing Studio. Under the "View Seller Report" section, click "Customize Report"

You'll want to make sure the Seller Report you're saving as a template has all the custom objects you want to include in your future reports. Choose your favorite Seller Report (or the one that most reflects your best practices)

Step 2: Save as a template

After you have chosen and updated your preferred Seller Report, click "Save as Template” and give your new template a unique name.

Pro Tip: You can save various layouts as reusable templates based on things like: different agents on your team, whether you'll create video content for a listing, location, price range, etc.

Click “Create Template” and then click done and preview your report

Step 3: Use your template for a new Seller Report

  • After you’ve launched your next listing's landing page and used Listing Studio to promote it, it's time to use your new Seller Report Template.

  • A box will pop up for you to choose one of your saved Seller Report templates (or select None to use the default seller report experience you're used to) then click “Create Seller Report”

  • You can customize the report for your new listing from there! 🚀

Once you select a template for a listing, it stays with that report to avoid any formatting or customization conflicts and to keep your reports stable - you can’t swap it midstream.

That said, the individual report itself is fully editable - you're not locked in to the template you choose. Using templates just helps you start faster, saves you time, and cuts down on repetition. You can still customize and update the report however you like. And if you like this new report's formatting, you can also save it as a new Seller Report template.

For future listings, you can choose any template you’ve saved, giving you flexibility with new template layouts and styles.

⚡ In short:

  • Current reports keep the template you picked, but remain editable.
  • New reports let you choose any template to start with.

💡 Pro Tips For Customizing Seller Reports

  • Add short commentaries to stats (“📈 150 views in 48 hours!”) for context
  • Save your layouts as reusable templates based on things like:  personalization for each agent on your team, type of listing, location, price range, etc.
  • Add a personalized Loom or walkthrough video for deeper more humanized connection

🙋‍♀️ FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reuse the same layout for a new listing's Seller Report?
Yes! Once you create Seller Report Templates, you can choose your favorite template for any future Seller Report.

PLEASE NOTE:

Templates cannot be retroactively applied to previously-built Seller Reports.

Can I change templates after I create a Seller Report?
No. Once you select a template, it stays with that report to keep formatting consistent. But the report itself is fully editable, and you can pick a different template for any new report you create.

How often do “auto” report stats update?
Performance metrics refresh every 24 hours for integrated stats.
For manually added stats blocks, you would need to update those manually.

Does the share link change after updates?
Nope - it’s permanent. Sellers can revisit the same link anytime and see updates.

Can I embed a custom video walkthrough?
Absolutely. Just use an embed block with your YouTube/Loom/Vimeo link.
