Google Sign-In is a friction-less, secure way for consumers to enter in their email contact information to website registrations. This allows businesses to collect the most accurate information from the most popular and trusted email provider, Google.

We've created a brief how-to video to explain the process to create the Google Login function and add it to your Curaytor website.

Here is the process written out step-by-step, as well:

  1. Make sure you are logged in to a Google email account
** Please note: if you don't have a G Suite account for your business that you can login to, you can create a basic Gmail account here and login to that account instead (for the purposes of adding this function to your Curaytor website)

  2. In a new tab, go to https://developers.google.com/identity/sign-in/web/sign-in

  3. Click the "CONFIGURE A PROJECT" button

  4. Enter your Project Name (using your Team Name)

  5. Specify the Product Name (using the same Team Name as Step 4)

  6. Choose "Web Browser" from the drop down menu

  7. Type in your complete domain (including https://www.), then click Create

  8. Copy the "Client ID" to your computer dashboard

  9. Login to your Curaytor Platform and head to Settings > Basic Details

  10. Paste the copied Google Client ID to the "Google Client ID" field under "Basic Details" then click Save

  11. Double-check the Google Login option is live by going to your site's homepage and typing /full at the end of the url
